Our waitlist is closed. We have ceased accepting new referrals – until further notice.

Due to the pandemic, our present capacity to take on new patients is very limited. Our waitlist is over 400 individuals. The reality is that most people on our waitlist will not be able to join our clinic unless we receive funding for an additional NP – something we have advocated for, for the past 4 years.

If you do not have a primary care provider, please register with Health Care Connect (1 800 445 1822). Primary care providers taking on new patients select from this list. It also shows the unmet need for primary care in Peterborough.

The Peterborough Family Health Team’s Virtual Care Clinic is open (by appointment) for individuals without  a primary care provider. If a physical exam is needed, an on-site staff will do this and the patient will confer with the physician via video. The aim of this clinic is to not just address acute issues, but to also do preventative testing/screening for individuals, so their health history is documented and can be shared when/if they become a patient of a local primary care provider.
